§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSThe number of factory inspectors including the chief inspector and other inspectors at headquarters, and taking the number serving on the last day of each year, was 173 in 1925; 175 in 1926; and 178 in 1927. The number of assistants was 25 in 1925; 25 in 1926; and 23 in 1927. In addition, there were, in each of the three years, one senior inspector of textile particulars and four assistant inspectors of textile particulars.
