WOODThe total amount of the invested funds of approved societies in connection with the National Health Insurance Act at 31st December, 1927, was, approximately, £111,000,000: £56,000,000 invested with the National Debt Commissioners under Sub-section (1) of Section 70 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1924, and £55,000,000 invested by or on behalf of societies under Sub-sections (2) and (3) of Section 71.
