PERCYThe experiments which are being carried out at the Fuel Research Station and Richmond, and the large number of similar experiments else-1614W where, have proved the technical possibility of extracting oil fuel from coal, but it is, I think, obvious that the Government cannot and should not express an opinion on the commercial prospects of any process based on these experiments.
