HC Deb 17 November 1927 vol 210 c1151W
Mr. KELLY

asked the Minister of Labour whether he will give revised figures showing for 1925 the numbers and percentages of trade disputes involving stoppages of work, the results of which were in favour of the workpeople, in favour of the employer, and compromise?

Mr. BETTERTON

The final figures show that, of 603 disputes involving stoppages of work beginning in 1925, 154 or 25.5 per cent. terminated in favour of workpeople, 189 or 31.4 per cent. in favour of employers, and 260 or 43.1 per cent. in compromise.
