GILMOURSufficient time has not elapsed since the expiry of the contractors' period of maintenance in respect of even the earliest scheme of steel houses to permit of a reliable comparison between the cost of upkeep of stone or brick and of steel houses. The cost of repairs carried out by the contractors during their period of maintenance is not available.
