HC Deb 15 November 1927 vol 210 c842W
Captain A. EVANS

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will consult the Food Council in regard to the current price of oysters; and if he can state the reason for the price now charged to the consumer?

Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTER

The Food Council are concerned with the supply or price of articles of food of general consumption, and I do not think that oysters can be considered as such.
