asked the Minister of Transport in what districts and streets the one-way traffic system is now in operation in the London area; and whether any new experiments are to be made in the Metropolitan area during the next three months?

"Roundabout" and "one-way" systems of traffic are now in operation in the following districts or streets:

Long Acre.

Upper St. Martin's Lane.

Great St. Andrew Street.

Little St. Andrew Street.

Mare Street, Hackney.

Aldwych.

Parliament Square.

Queen Victoria Memorial.

Hyde Park Corner.

Piccadilly:

Bennet Street and Arlington Street.

Dover Street and Albermarle Street.

Trafalgar Square.

Piccadilly Circus, including Haymarket.

Regent Street (lower portion).

Hammersmith Broadway.

Marble Arch.

Knightsbridge—Brompton Road and Sloane Street.

Sloane Square.

Charles Street.

Pall Mall, between Haymarket and Waterloo Place.

It is expected that revised methods for working traffic will be put into operation experimentally at about 10 additional places during the course of the next few months.
