HC Deb 11 November 1927 vol 210 cc521-2W
Sir B. FALLE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the number of photographers, first class, borne in the Royal Navy and where they are serving; the period allowed for home service for these ratings; whether they are drafted under the ordinary drafting regulations; whether each rating gets an equal share of sea and home service; and whether any one of these ratings is in a permanent appointment?

Lieut.-Colonel HEADLAM

The number of photographers, first class, borne on 1st October was five. They are subject to the usual drafting regulations so far as these can be applied to a small specialist branch. I am having inquiries made regarding the remaining parts of the question.
