HC Deb 11 November 1927 vol 210 c522W
Sir B. FALLE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the provisions of paragraph 4 of Article 626 of the King's Regulations and Admiralty Instructions, as amended by King's Regulation 10/27, are enforced in His Majesty's Ship "Vernon"?

Lieut.-Colonel HEADLAM

Clause 12 of Article 626 recognises that in the older ships, in small vessels and in shore establishments the rules laid down must be subject to local conditions and the precise arrangements in force in such individual ships and establishments are not known at the Admiralty.

Sir B. FALLE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the provision of paragraph one of Article 626 of the King's Regulations and Admiralty Instructions, as amended by King's Regulation 10/27, have been extended to the seamen petty officers' mess of H.M.S. "Nelson"; and, if not, whether he will take the necessary steps to insure that this is done?

Lieut.-Colonel HEADLAM

The provisions of Article 626 of the King's Regulations, as amended, have been applied to H.M.S. "Nelson" so far as practicable.
