§ Colonel DAYasked the Under-Secretary of State for India if he has received a report of the riots which took place at Lahore on 3rd May; if so, can he state the number of deaths that have occurred in these riots and the number of persons wounded; has he any information to show what measures have been taken to prevent further rioting; and why it was necessary to call out and post troops in the city?
