§ Colonel DAYasked the Under-Secretary of State for India if he has received any communication from the Governor of the Punjab stating that orders have 1394W been issued indefinitely postponing the normal seasonal departures of British infantry battalions from the cantonments in the Punjab for the hills; and, if so, if he can state the length of this postponement and the number of troops that are affected?
