§ Earl WINTERTONIn reply to a question in the Indian Legislative Assembly on 25th February it was stated on behalf of the Government of India that they recognise the desirability of publishing the Report as soon as possible, but consider it essential that their decisions on the more important of the recommendations should be announced at the time of publication; they regretted that it was impossible to fix a definite date.
