§ Mr. AMERYI have no information to show what was the number of such films. Censorship is a matter within the discretion of the several Colonial authorities to be exercised in the light of local requirements. In such cases as have come to my notice the action has in general been taken on the ground that the films in question contained matter unsuitable for presentation to native spectators.
