No official is definitely set apart for this work, individual appointments being made on each application.

§ Colonel ASHLEYThe number of applications received for the year ended 31st March, 1825, was 162 and for the year ended 31st March, 1926, 194. From the 1st April, 1926, to the 18th March, 1927, the number of applications received amount to 322.
