HC Deb 24 February 1927 vol 202 c1937W
Mr. CASSELS

asked the Minister of Transport. whether he is aware of the conditions in which the people of Leyton and Leytonstone have to travel to and from their work in the trains of the London and North Eastern Railway; and whether, in view of the prevalence of influenza, he can take any steps to prevent the unhealthy overcrowding of rail-way carriages on this line?

Colonel ASHLEY

I received a few days ago certain representations in regard to this service, and am causing inquiries to be made.
