§ Mr. T. WILLIAMSasked the President of the Board of Trade the average price per ton of coal purchased by Government agents abroad during the dispute f.o.b.; the average cost per ton freightage to British ports; and the average price at which this coal was sold to consumers?
§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERI regret that I am at present unable to give these particulars. Government purchases were on a large scale, and many accounts have still to be settled. But full details of these transactions will be set out in the trading account to be presented in accordance with Section 5 of the Exchequer and Audit Departments Act, 1921.
