§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERFrom the beginning of May to the end of November, 1926, there were 141 fatal accidents at mines under the Coal Mines Acts, causing 145 deaths. For the period 1st December, 1926, to the end of January, 1927, the corresponding figures were 164 and 173.
