HC Deb 17 February 1927 vol 202 c1129W
Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies why the troops patrolling the frontier between the British leased territory and Chinese territory at Kowloon have crossed the frontier and penetrated into Chinese territory; whether the village of Shataukok is considered to be in Chinese or British territory; whether it has been entered by British troops; and, if so, for what purpose?

Mr. AMERY

The frontier between British-leased territory and Chinese territory divides the village of Sha Tan Kok. I have no reason to suppose that there has been any infraction of the boundary by British troops.
