Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe prices of bricks vary according to grade and locality. According to the reports published from time to time by the Interdepartmental Committee appointed to survey the prices of building materials, the price of Fletton bricks at Willesden in April, 1914, was 22s. 6d. per thousand. The corresponding price at Willesden at the present time is, I understand, 55s. The imports of bricks of earth or clay during the last three years, and the average declared value, were as follow:
