§ Sir V. BOWATERasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that the counterfoils of postal orders of the value of 2s. 6d. and under are no longer available for identification, and consequently the statement on the counterfoils of postal orders, namely, "quote counterfoil," is misleading; and, as the knowledge that small postal orders cannot be traced facilitates their improper use, will he undertake that, where a specific case of fraud is alleged, he will trace the postal orders in question?
§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONMy hon. and gallant Friend appears to be under some misapprehension as to the details of the procedure involved, and perhaps he would be good enough to confer with me on the subject.
