§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe delivery has been suspended since July last in order to afford the postmen a weekly half-holiday. In accordance with the usual practice, the assent of the city council was obtained, on the understanding that the arrangement should be experimental for six months. No complaint has been received other than the representations referred to by my hon. and gallant Friend; and before considering2118W the question further, I should prefer to await the opinion of the city council at the end of the' experimental period.
