Sir F. HALLasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will arrange for any official accounts which may be available with regard to the outrages committed against British and other foreign nationals at Nanking to be circulated as a White Paper to the House?
Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSONMy right lion. Friend has already given to the House the substance of such official reports as he has received about the Nanking incident, and the sworn statements of Mrs. Giles and Mr. Brown have already been published in the Press. I do not think, therefore, that there is any need for a White Paper at this moment.
