HC Deb 11 November 1926 vol 199 cc1278-9W
Sir R. HAMILTON

asked the Postmaster-General if he is now in a position to make any statement as to the reduced mail service across the Pentland Firth and as to the resumption of the normal service?

Viscount WOLMER

I regret that continuance of a restricted mail service across the Pentland Firth is still necessary, but I have been able to arrange that the days of sailing as from 15th November shall be Monday, Wednesday and Friday as suggested by the hon. Member. The resumption of the normal service is dependent upon the coal situation.
