HC Deb 11 November 1926 vol 199 c1295W
Mr. TASKER

asked the Minister of Health whether any, and, if so, what alterations have been made, or are proposed, in the arrangements, recently described by him, for the hearing of appeals by applicants whose claims to pensions by virtue of the Widows', Orphans', and Old Age Contributory Pensions Act, 1925, are rejected by the Minister; whether the proposed précis of the more important cases decided on appeal has yet been published; and, if not, when is it likely to be published?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

No alterations have been made, or are at present contemplated, in the arrangements for the hearing of appeals under the Contributory Pensions Act. The work of compiling a précis of the more important decisions is now in hand, but I am not yet in a position to say when the material will be ready for publication.
