§ Mr. AMERYI have been asked by my right hon. Friend to reply. I have given careful consideration to the resolutions of the Conference, and am in communication with the Governments of the East African Dependencies in regard to them. In many cases the resolutions deal with matters on which action is proceeding. In other cases I am awaiting a further expression of local views.
