asked the Minister of Pensions how many complaints were received during each of the last three months at the Scottish regional headquarters of the Ministry of Pensions regarding delay or difficulty about the payment of pensions?

The number of complaints regarding delay or difficulty in the payment of pensions received in the Issue Office, Scotland, during the months of December, January and February last was 45, 56 and 39, respectively. In the large majority of these cases delay had arisen owing to the fault of the pensioner.
