asked the Minister of Agriculture if any loans have been made to encourage the formation of co-operative milk depots or cheese factories; and, if so, the amount that has been so loaned?

Mr. GUINNESS

A loan of £2,050 has been made to a co-operative milk depot on its formation, and a loan of £1,000 has been granted to an existing society.
