asked the Secretary of State for War whether he can give the names of the Commissioners of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, who are responsible for the decision made in connection with applications for disability pensions by ex-service men with post-War service?

Decisions on applications for disability pensions in respect of post-War service are made by the Board of Commissioners of Chelsea Hospital. The Commissioners are as follow:

  • The Paymaster-General.
  • The Secretary of State for War.
  • The Under-Secretary of State for War.
  • The Finance Member of the Army Council.
  • The Permanent Under-Secretary of State for War.
  • The Governor of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
  • The Director-General of Army Medical Services.
  • The Director of Staff Duties.
  • The Director of Personal Services.
  • The Director of Movements and Quartering.
  • The Director of Fortifications and Works.
  • The Lieutenant-Governor and Secretary of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
