§ Mr. SCURRasked the Minister of Transport whether the London Traffic Committee proposes to hold an inquiry into the traffic problems of East London; and, if so, whether such inquiry will be public?
§ Colonel ASHLEYI am informed that the London Traffic Advisory Committee, to whom I have referred the question of the alleged inadequacy of travelling facilities to and from East London, have appointed certain of its members to hold a public inquiry into the matter, commencing on Monday, the 15th March. The inquiry will be held at the Guildhall, Westminster, and will be open to the public.
