§ Mr. HORE-BELISHA
asked the Minister of Health what percentage of the population of Devonport are living in conditions which according to the census definition are officially recognised as overcrowded; and what is the figure for the St. Aubyn and Nelson Wards, respectively?

I regret that the figures asked for are not available. The census statistics of housing density are tabulated for the County Borough of Plymouth only as a whole, and net for its constituent areas.

asked the Minister of Health how many houses suitable for the working classes have been built in Devonport in each of the years since, and including 1919, and how many under assisted schemes in each of the years in question?
