asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the Urban District Council of Little Lever is proposing to make a joint appointment of sanitary inspector and assistant surveyor at a salary of £185 per annum, inclusive of bonus; whether he approved the terms of the advertisement; and whether he is satisfied that the salary offered is a sufficient one to obtain and retain the services of a qualified officer?
