HC Deb 11 February 1926 vol 191 cc1270-1W
Mr. HORE-BELISHA

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he has received a resolution from the Dublin Metropolitan Pre-War Pensioners' Association calling attention to the disabilities from which they suffer; and whether it is the intention of the Government to do anything to assist these men, who are now suffering privation, particularly as they have been deprived of the benefits of the Pensions Increase Act, 1924?

Mr. McNEILL

A resolution to the effect mentioned in the question was received by my right hon. Friend on the 13th November last; as regards the last part of the question, the hon. Member was informed of the policy of His Majesty's Government in reply to questions on the 31st March and 25th June, 1925, and I am afraid it is not possible for me to vary or add anything to those replies.
