§ Sir W. de FRECEasked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the differing practices of grading in regard to the sale of jam by weight; is he aware that some manufacturers sell net weights in pots of jam, whereas others offer no guarantee; and whether he will ask the Food Council to investigate the matter with the object of establishing uniformity in the conditions of sale?
