§ Mr. WINDSORasked the Minister of Pensions how many of the 437 area offices and whole-time and part-time sub-offices that were in operation on the 31st March, 1925, have hem closed, and what is the economy anticipated to result from the closure of the offices?
§ Major TRYONSince the date referred to 65 offices have been closed, all of which were on a part-time basis. It is not possible to determine with accuracy the aggregate saving which has resulted from the closing down of these offices, but it is substantial, and the saving in respect of accommodation alone amounts to £1,038 a year.
