HC Deb 10 February 1926 vol 191 c1068W
Mr. HORE-BELISHA

asked the Minister of Health whether it is the practice of the Ministry to cause an inspection to be made periodically by any of their inspectors of houses built by local authorities with the aid of a subsidy from public funds with a view to seeing that the houses are in all respects satisfactory?

Sir K. WOOD

No, Sir. While, in special circumstances arrangements are made for such inspection, it would not be practicable, nor, in my right hon. Friend's opinion, necessary to do so as a matter of routine.
