HC Deb 10 February 1926 vol 191 c1078W
Colonel DAY

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty by whom and what are the arrangements made for the disposal of cinematograph films taken for exhibition purposes on board His Majesty's ships of war; and what amounts have been paid to His Majesty's Government for these filming rights?

Mr. DAVIDSON

In reply to the first part of the question, I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to my reply of 16th December last to the hon. and gallant Member for Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy). The arrangements detailed therein are made by the Admiralty. As regards the second part, the total payments received by the Admiralty to date from various firms amount to about £5,700.
