HC Deb 09 February 1926 vol 191 c887W
Colonel DAY

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the fact that new and repaired motor vehicles are daily being tested on the high roads, he will introduce legislation or take steps to prevent this growing a road menace?

Colonel ASHLEY

I would remind the hon. and gallant Member that all motor vehicles using the highways, whether on test or otherwise, are subject to the provisions of the general law. I do not consider that any action on my part in this respect is necessary.
