HC Deb 09 February 1926 vol 191 c878W
Mr. T. WILLIAMS

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that the premises now serving as a post office at Goldthorpe, near Rotherham, are totally unsuitable for carrying on the business efficiently; whether any steps have been taken by his department to provide suitable accommodation; and, if not, will he cause inquiries to be made with a view to supplying an urgent need?

Viscount WOLMER

The premises used for a post office at Goldthorpe are provided by the sub-postmaster as is usual at places where the volume of postal business is comparatively small. It is recognised that the present premises are not in all respects adequate and the sub-postmaster is making every effort to obtain premises which will afford better accommodation.
