HC Deb 09 February 1926 vol 191 c873W
Mr, WARDLAW-MILNE

asked the President of the Board of Trade what companies, if any, have recently made arrangements for the erection in this country of plants to produce articles upon the import of which a duty is levied under the reimposition of what are known as the McKenna Duties?

Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTER

It has been reported in the Press that the Citroen Company has during the past few months acquired a factory in this country for the production of motor cars, and I understand that there have been extensions of plant by gramophone makers.
