§ Captain HACKINGI presume that the hon. and gallant Member is referring to the registers for constituencies in the Borough of Kingston-upon-Hull, concerning which he has addressed a letter to my right hon. Friend. I have made inquiry of the Registration Officer in regard to the allegations contained in the hon. and gallant Member's letter, and have received from him in reply a' statement which shows that adequate steps are taken for the proper preparation of the registers in accordance with the Regulations contained in the Statute.
