HC Deb 15 December 1926 vol 200 c2942W
Mr. R. MORRISON

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been drawn to the activities of a certain firm advertising home employment in the "situations vacant" columns of various newspapers; and, in view of the complaints received from those who have sent money in reply to the advertisements, whether he proposes to take any action?

Captain HACKING

It is understood that the question refers to matters in respect of which legal proceedings are threatened or pending, and in those circumstances an answer cannot be given.
