§ Sir J. GILMOURThe sporting rent which was on a net basis in 1913, 1914 and 1919 was £200 in each of these years. This applied to a somewhat larger area than the estate acquired by the Board of Agriculture. The rents in the years 1920–1926, inclusive, were £195, £100, £200, £230, £230, £230, and £220 respectively. These latter are net figures calculated by snaking the appropriate deductions from the aggregate rents received by the Board of Agriculture and are comparable with the rents applicable to the years 1913, 1914 and 1919, subject to the consideration above mentioned.
