HC Deb 09 December 1926 vol 200 cc2315-6W
Colonel APPLIN

asked the Secretary of State for War for how long have experiments with a view to the adoption of a streamline bullet been conducted by his Department; whether such experiments have been made in conjunction with unofficial tests; and has such a bullet been now finally adopted for service use?

Captain KING

Experiments in connection with the streamline bullet have been in progress since 1920, but so far no streamline bullet has been found suitable for adoption in the Service. Any information relating to this type of bullet is always welcomed by the War Department.
