§ Mr. PALINGasked the Secretary of State for War if his attention has been drawn to the circumstances connected with the death of Private William Kincaid, of the King's Own Scottish Borderers, who was killed by falling from a railway train near Arksey, Doncaster, on Wednesday morning, 24th November; is he aware that, although the Army authorities were communicated with the same day, no action was taken for several days concerning the burial of the deceased; that they sent no one to the inquiry; that the body lay in the mortuary from Wednesday to Monday afternoon, and that an appeal to the Poor Law authorities to bury him was narrowly avoided; and the reason for all these delays?
