asked the Minister of Health whether he will give comparative figures, chosen for suitable dates, one before and the other since the coal dispute, showing the amounts of poor rates in the pound levied by boards of guardians in coalfield districts?

The figures are as follow:

STATEMENT showing the amount in the pound of the Poor Rate levied in a parish in each of the under-mentioned Unions situated in coalfield districts in England and Wales, in respect of the relief of the poor and other expenses of the Guardians for the half-years ending 31st March, 1926, 30th September, 1926 and 31st March, 1927.
