BARNSTONThe provision of facilities at any port for the landing of cattle from Canada is a matter for commercial enterprise, subject to the condition that any lauding place provided for this purpose must comply with certain conditions laid down by the Ministry for the purpose of preventing the introduction and spread of disease. The Ministry is not aware that any person is prepared to undertake the necessary capital outlay on this project. No negotiations are being conducted by the Ministry on the question.
