Dr. V. DAVIESasked the Minister of Pensions whether the information available in his Department regarding the Spahlinger treatment is yet sufficient to justify him in arranging for the provision of this form of treatment for pensioners suffering from tuberculosis?
Lieut.-Colonel STANLEYNo Sir. I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on 28th July last to a question by the hon. and gallant Member for Hey-wood and Radcliffe (Colonel England). The matter is one primarily for the Ministry of Health. My right hon. Friend understands that the case must still for the present be considered "non-proven."
