Mr. DAVIDSONI am sending to the hon. and gallant Member a statement showing in detail the answers to various questions which have arisen, including those which have been raised by the workmen's trade union representatives. As regards the second part of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to my reply of the 16th December (OFFICIAL REPORT, Columns 1395/6). So far as is1988W possible, men will be sent in batches, and I do not doubt that, with the financial assistance which is being given, they will be able to make temporary arrangements for accommodation.
