§ Sir F. SYKESasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if Re will state, in respect of each Government Department affected by the reorganisation of staff into administrative and executive classes, the average total number of 1720W established employés in receipt of salaries, exclusive of the cost-of-living bonus, of £500 and upwards in the 12 months preceding such reorganisation and in the 12 months ending 31st March last, respectively, and the total sum paid in respect of such salaries in each Department in each of those periods?
Mr. GUINNESSI regret that I am not in possession of the information desired by the hon. and gallant Member and I do not consider that the expenditure of time and money which would be involved in obtaining it from the Departments would be justifiable.
