HC Deb 09 October 1924 vol 177 c746W
Sir R. ASKE

asked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been drawn to allegations as to the condition of certain buildings occupied by the stag of the Ministry; whether he has seen the buildings in question; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy the state of affairs in question?

Mr. SHAW

I am aware that several of the Employment Exchange premises are unsatisfactory in many respects, both from the point of view of the applicants and the staff, and I have seen a number of them. Active steps are being taken to improve the position.
